Terriers are bold, playful and adventurous. They make good housedogs as long as they get lots of mental and physical exercise. They do well in most homes but cannot be left alone for long periods of time. But if you enjoy their antics and can keep up with them, then a terrier is for you! Basset Hounds are an especially friendly breed. For this reason they usually make excellent pets. Bassets are known to be a vocal breed that might howl or bark when they want something or to suggest that something is wrong. They also use a low, murmuring whine to get attention, which sounds as if they are talking. They require a moderate amount of exercise like going for a daily walk. Get acquainted with this dog off leash in one of our family run areas. Most dogs will need to run off some energy before they settle down and get acquainted with you. Thanks!
