Fishing for the Animals

In honor of Dudley, his best friend and companion collie for 12 years, professional fisherman Mark Frickman and his team will be "fishing for the animals" during this years bass fishing tournaments. In a boat that has been wrapped in the Orphans logo as well as Dudley's photo, Mark will compete in bass fishing tournaments across the United States and Canada, and will be donating a minimum of 25% of his winnings to Orphans of the Storm. See the schedule and follow the excitement of this "catch and release" sport as Tournaments are fished and won and money is raised for Orphans of the Storm.

From Mark...

"I am writing to you in honor of my beloved Dudley who passed away 10/22/10 at 9PM in our home. We were blessed with him for over 12 years. He was a spoiled rotten Sable Collie-Dudley was on the front page of the Grand Rapids Press and on the Radio as the most spoiled pet in Michigan.

Dudley was never, ever caged after we adopted him at 10 weeks old from Orphans of the Storm. He is on our web page www.twodabay.com and is under "about us". He was our first mate. He never had to be on a leash and always stayed by my side.

Dudley was allowed his own lazy boy chair and yes he could sleep on the bed. He traveled with us or spent the summers in Elk Rapids at my Mother in Laws. There he was spoiled even further-free to run and chase the squirrels on 5 lots-never to leave the yard for any reason.

Dudley was the most intellectual dog I have ever come across and came to work with me and greeted everyone who came in.

This is being done to give back for the blessed 12 years we had with Dudley.

Mark Frickman
