Orphans of the Storm’s first-annual benefit dinner, Monday, April 30, 2001

Orphans of the Storm held its first annual benefit dinner on Monday April 30, 2001 to help raise much needed awareness and funds for northeast Illinois’ premier animal shelter. Held at the Marriot's Lincolnshire Resort, the evening featured the launch of Orphans’ website, a presentation by Steve Dale, host of WGN Radio’s Pet Central program on responsible pet ownership, a special video all about the shelter, and a presentation by Tom Brackney of the Madcap Mutts^SM on dog training.
