Provide spay/neuter financial assistance to low-income pet
owners
If your veterinarian is in Cook County, contact him or her to
see if they are participating in the Cook County spay/neuter program, which occurs
only in February of each year. You can save $40 off the cost of the spay or neuter
of your dog, cat or ferret (they must be current on rabies and other vaccinations
to participate in the program).
